Frequently asked questions.
Q: What is IGIT Marketing?
A: IGIT Marketing is a Knoxville-based direct sales and marketing company focused on face-to-face customer acquisition, leadership development, and long-term career growth. We specialize in helping ambitious individuals build real-world sales skills, develop into leaders, and grow into management positions through a proven training system.
Q: Do I need sales experience to work at IGIT Marketing?
A: No experience is required. In fact, most of our top performers started with zero background in sales or marketing. We provide full hands-on training, so all you need is a student mentality, strong work ethic, and the drive to grow.
Q: What kind of training do you provide?
A: We offer a structured sales and leadership training program that covers everything from communication and persuasion to team-building, time management, and financial development. You'll learn in real time through shadowing, role-play, live feedback, and mentorship.
Q: How much can I expect to earn?
A: We use a performance-based pay structure, meaning the more consistent and effective you are, the more you can earn. Many of our reps earn between $800–$2,000+ per week depending on production. There’s no income cap—your results determine your rewards.
Q: What does a typical day look like at IGIT Marketing?
A: Every day starts with a morning team meeting focused on training, goals, and recognition. After that, agents head into the field to speak directly with customers and close sales. There’s time in the afternoon for mentorship, performance reviews, and team check-ins.
Q: Is IGIT Marketing a commission-only company?
A: No. Our agents are paid based on production with built-in performance tiers, and some roles include base / bonus pay. We ensure the system is fair, transparent, and designed to reward consistency and excellence.
Q: Is there room for advancement?
A: Absolutely. We promote from within based on merit—not tenure. If you consistently perform and show leadership, you can move from agent to team lead to assistant manager and eventually run your own office. Your growth is in your hands.
Q: How long does it take to move into a leadership role?
A: There’s no set timeline, but some team members have advanced in as little as 3–6 weeks. Progress depends on your attitude, consistency, and how well you absorb the training.
